This class covers ABF beliefs, structure, expression, and ministry opportunities in a casual atmosphere of fellowship, with a sixth week for anyone wanting membership.  This class is at capacity but we have a new session scheduled to begin on September 26).  Call the church office for

Do you really believe that what you believe is really real?  Dr. Del Tackett's video-based class discusses in great detail the relevance and importance of living the Christian worldview in daily life.

STUDY OF II THESSALONIANS

Join us for ailey for a study of Paul's second letter to the Thessalonians where he encouraged them to remain faithful as they awaited Christ's return.

COFFEE WITH THE APOSTLE PAUL

Ever left the worship service with questions, comments, or ideas about the sermon that you would like to discuss?  This class will provide the opportunity for you to talk about the sermon and connect with others.

TUESDAY CLASS:

MOPS (MOTHERS OF PRESCHOOLERS)
The First and Third Tuesdays, September-May, 9:30-11:30 AM
MOPS resumes September 7.  If you are a mother of a child, birth-five years of age, please join us.  The children will enjoy Christian teaching and high quality care from trained helpers and mom will enjoy fellowship, and a brunch while talking about relevant topics about mothering young children.  Cost:  $5 per week.

CURRENT WEDNESDAY MORNING CLASS:

MEN'S BIBLE STUDY
Wednesday Mornings, 6:30-7:30 AM, Commons
Join us each week for breakfast biscuits, coffee and juice as we study the book of Proverbs. Various men facilitate a short devotion each week from this immensely practical book, followed by small group discussions and prayer time.


WEDNESDAY CLASSES BEGINNING SEPTEMBER 8:

ALL CHURCH DINNERS
5:15-6:15, ABF Lunch Room
You and the family are invited to join us for a quick bite before the evening activities begin.  The cost is $2 per person. 

AWANA PARENT ORIENTATION & KICK OFF
6:00 PM & 6:30 PM
AWANA begins the new year with an orientation from 6-6:20 and the AWANA program from 6:30-8:00 PM.  AWANA helps parents raise their children to know, love, and serve Christ for life as they learn Scripture, adopt strong Biblical principles, while engaging in fun, wholesome activities, and forming healthy relationships with other children and AWANA leaders.  Pre-registration is available on Sunday mornings in the Commons.

LADIES' FALL BIBLE STUDY
6:30 PM, KidZone Theater, Marci Parker
The Amazing Collection teaches the Bible book by book in an understandable, relevant and exciting way so women can learn lessons for life from every book of God's Word.  One book of the Bible will be studied each week through a teaching video and written study.  This year we are studying the New Testament books beginning with Matthew. 

SACRED MARRIAGE

Learn more about God's design for marriage, namely that He uses marriage to refine our character and make us more holy.  Also, learn how to maintain proper values and boundaries in your marriage.

SHEPHERDING A TEEN'S HEART
6:30 PM, Room 25, Andy Blavatt
This vido-based class, taught by Tedd and Paul Tripp, will encourage parents of teens as they seek God for grace, truth and wisdom in their families.  Time will also be spent in fellowship sharing struggles and successes and praying for one another.

BIBLE INTERPRETATION
6:30 PM, Lunchroom, Ken Grano
Has the Bible become dull to you?  Are you frustrated with a confusing passage?  This class will teach principles for interpreting scripture that will help revitalize your passion for His living Word. 

BUILDING BIBLICAL WORSHIP
6:30 PM, Pastor Dean's Office, Dean Moyer
Have you ever wondered why we worship the way we worship?  How does one measure the effectiveness of worship?  What is meant by the phrase "biblical worship?"  Does the Bible teach a detailed worship order to use?  How are we to encounter God in worship?  Join us for a book study of "The Worship Architect."

RUNNERS, ON YOUR MARK, GET SET...GO!

Runners from all over the High Country will take on our annual 4 Mile Challenge.  The success of this ABF outreach event is dependent upon your help.  You don't have to be a runner - just willing to serve.  Call the church office if you would like to be a part of our event team.

ADOPT A STREET/STREAM

Please mark your calendar to heop serve the local community by cleaning up our designated street and stream.  We will meet at the Greenway at the gazebo across from the Armory at 8:30 AM for breakfast (provided by Stick Boy) and then head out to cleean at 9:00 AM.  RSVP to Scott at wscottstclair@gmail.com
